Anyone who likes Tchaikovsky is going to love Vasily Kalinnikov’s First Symphony. Join us as we welcome Costa Rican conductor and composer Eddie Mora as our guest conductor for this unforgettable concert. We will feature the rarely performed 1st symphony by Kalinnikov whose life was cut short at age 35. Maestro Mora will give the world premiere of one of his own compositions with the MSO as well as bringing us the fun packed overture Rusland and Ludmilla by Glinka.
