Tickets for Veterans are $20 upon verification at the door. Hooks for Heroes Connecticut is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that gives the proceeds raised to Veteran’s support groups, which support our Wounded, Injured, Sick, and veterans that suffer from PTSD.

On June 21, 2025, Halloween Yacht Club will sponsor and host a fishing competition with participation from local Connecticut veterans as well as some of our seriously wounded and injured service members from the Walter Reed National Military Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, and Fort Belvior in Virginia.
Honored at the Ceremonies will be WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan Veterans, as well as our local First Responders followed by a large buffet, cookout and other activities.
Your donation will support local veterans and Operation Gift Cards, a program started as a joint venture between the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 13 Stamford and the Military Order of the Purple Heart Derby/Shelton Chapter 1.
