No Man’s Land Film Festival (NMLFF), a multi-racial, all-woman led team and registered 501(c)(3), is the premier adventure film festival for women and gender non-conforming athletes and storytellers. Our mission is to facilitate a collaboration and celebration of women, men, and gender-diverse individuals who are deeply engaged in enhancing the feminine presence in the outdoor arena. The goal of this festival is to connect action-oriented individuals, filmmakers, artists and athletes who share a vision of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. Together, we are working to, not just equalize but advocate for true and permanent social change.
This year's screening bring four outstanding films bring epic stories of of culture, feminism, grit, and determination. Join us as we take a look at forging a skateboarding culture in rural Arabic Communities, go on a 200-mile prayer ride to raise awareness about the impact of residential boarding school systems on Indigenous communities, return to a remote Everest village and challenging memories with a mountain guide, and finally reflect on the grit and courage needed to reach the olympics as a female skier.
