Details

Hear one of the most fascinating symphonic masterworks in musical history, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 by local musicians! “This is the sound of Fate knocking at the door.” These were the words that Beethoven used to characterize the world-famous opening motif. We will also have the world premiere of our Composition Competition winner piece of 2020, Terra Nocte by Kevin Poelking, and we will be featuring as a soloist one of our own with one of the MSU Honors Competition winners of 2021, Michael HarriSon, performing D. Bourgeois’ Trombone Concerto.
