Featured songwriters Aaron Raitiere, Marla Cannon-Goodman, and a girl named jo perform the songs you’ve heard and love from the radio, in their original form.  In this intimate, up-close setting every lyric and melody is heard the way it was the day the song was born.

 

This special event highlights the craft behind the music — the stories, inspiration, and creative process that bring the songs to life. The perfect night out for the longtime music lover, or those simply looking for a unique, low key live music experience

Featured Songwriters:

Marla Cannon-Goodman is the daughter of country music legend Buddy Cannon, Marla has penned some of country musics biggest hits. Her songwriting credits include George Strait, Eddie Arnold, Eric Church, Billy Currington, Willie Nelson, Sammy Kershaw, Merle Haggard, Mindy Smith, Kenny Chesney, and Sara Evans, among others. Her chart-topping hits include Lee Ann Womack’s number-one smash “The Fool,” Tracy Byrd’s “Ten Rounds With José Cuervo,” and Rodney Atkins’ “Cleaning This Gun,” which also reached the top spot on the charts. In addition to these successes, Marla co-wrote Blake Shelton’s top-15 hit single “Don’t Make Me.”

Aaron Raitiere is a Grammy winner whose work has found a home with some of country’s most respected paradigm-challenging artists—from Miranda Lambert to Lady Gaga, who co-wrote his Grammy-winning “I’ll Never Love Again” for A Star Is Born. He’s also had songwriting cuts with Ella Langley, Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Trace Adkins, Ashley McBryde, Lori McKenna, the Oak Ridge Boys, Randy Rogers Band, Midland, Brent Cobb, Koe Wetzel, Shooter Jennings, Carter Faith, and many more.

a girl named jo was named one of Rolling Stone’s 10 New Artists You Need To Know in 2017 and CMT’s Next Women of Country 2018— is a soulful and gritty songwriter from south Georgia, and she makes music that is an extension of herself. A passionate storyteller, her songs have landed with artists including Cody Johnson, Taylor Hicks, Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, and Billie Ray Cyrus.
