Stafford Shooting Sports is excited to announce its Annual Fundraising Banquet, scheduled for Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at the Stafford VFW. This highly anticipated community event kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with games, prize drawings, and live and silent auctions, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will feature over 10+ guns to be given away, along with numerous other prizes, drawings, and both silent and live auctions. Guests can expect a fun-filled night that not only brings people together but also supports a meaningful cause—helping youth athletes thrive in the world of shooting sports.
About Stafford Shooting Sports
Stafford Shooting Sports is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth trapshooting program dedicated to teaching firearm safety, responsibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Open to boys and girls of all backgrounds, the program provides young athletes with opportunities to compete in trapshooting while developing life skills that extend far beyond the shooting range.
The organization takes pride in being inclusive, welcoming participants who may not otherwise have access to outdoor activities or organized sports. The program has been particularly impactful for students from low-income families, special needs athletes, and young women interested in the sport.
“Our mission is bigger than just trapshooting,” said one team representative. “We’re building confidence, responsibility, and friendships that will last a lifetime. The banquet allows us to continue making that impact while keeping the program affordable and accessible to all.”
Community Support Matters
Funds raised from the banquet directly support program expenses, including ammunition, targets, entry fees, safety equipment, and travel costs for competitions. Without community involvement and generosity, many students would not have the chance to participate in this unique and rewarding sport.
