Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is a light-hearted, family-friendly event presented by The Swinney Foundation and held in partnership with the City of Stone Mountain Police Department's Faith in Blue intiative. This event brings together community members, churches, law enforcement, and local leaders in unity to stand against domestic violence. Men are invited to symbolically walk a short distance in women’s shoes to show support and empathy. It’s all about coming together to raise awareness. Wearing heels is optional, but showing support is what truly matters. This fun and engaging event encourages fellowship, conversation, and connection, while also highlighting the serious issue of domestic violence and the importance of prevention, resources, and community support. Together, through uniting community and law enforcement, we walk for awareness, for healing, and for a future free from violence.
We’re seeking generous sponsors and community partners to support this impactful event. Join us in raising awareness and building a stronger, safer community. For sponsorship opportunities, please contact The Swinney Foundation at theswinneyfoundation@gmail.com.
