On March 23, 2025, Adaptive Sports Ohio, in partnership with Youngstown State University, will be hosting a wheelchair rugby pay-to-play event to support Adaptive Sports Ohio’s Wheelchair Rugby Program. Wheelchair Rugby is for individuals with physical disabilities in at least three limbs. It is played on an indoor basketball court and the objective is for a player to carry a ball across the opponent’s goal line in order to score a point. The rules include elements of wheelchair basketball, ice hockey, handball and rugby. It is a contact sport and physical contact between wheelchairs is an integral part of the game. Help us provide this unique opportunity to the Youngstown community and continue our mission to promote the health and wellness of individuals with physical disabilities by signing up for the 2025 rugby pay-to-play event.

Light refreshments will be provided.
